Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress most well-known for her roles in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already landed several television roles, for instance, the lead in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall. The film received nominations for an Oscar and received critical and commercial success. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra's career has seen her work on a number of important national and international projects.
