Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara born as the only son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens and a leading part in a variety of television dramas. After her critically acclaimed role in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall. The film won an Oscar and won critical and commercial popularity. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra worked on several important international and national projects throughout her career. Some of these include the British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Other roles she has held include being a jury member at both and the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
