Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is most well-known for his role in the movie 'Birdman. As a versatile actor, he is able to perform comic and dramatic characters. He has also portrayed several romantic characters and played in numerous action films throughout his career. His interest in the acting profession began when he was when he was in his teen years. He tried stand up comedy in his early 20s. The show was not an enviable comedy career, but it did pave the way for a career in acting. Not able to achieve success in the field of comedy, he picked the job of cameraman on television at a cable channel. While working at the station, it was when he realized it was his dream to be on camera. He was then able to secure a TV role, and he appeared in many episodes in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor and became popular quickly on television. Following the success of his film career, his funny appearances brought him plenty of recognition. The Tim Burton film Batman, he played Batman, the character of the same name. As time passed, he grew as an actor, and began to work in direction and production.
