Michael Keaton is an American actor producer and director best known for his performance in the film "Birdman. An actor with a variety of talents, he's skilled in playing comedy in addition to dramatic roles. He's also played several romantic characters and appeared in several action thrillers during his professional career. His interest in the performing arts began when he was in his teen years. He attempted stand-up comedy when he was in his early 20s. The comedy venture did not go well, but it was the beginning of his acting career. Not able to achieve success as a comedian he took on a position as cameraman for a TV cable station. When he was working in the station that he realized that the way he wanted to work was in front of the camera. A television role was secured and he appeared in several episodes Mister Rogers Neighborhood. There was no doubt that he quickly became a popular television actor. After establishing a successful acting career in film, his funny performance earned him lots of recognition. His fame grew when he portrayed the eponymous superhero as Tim Burton's Batman. He grew as an actor as time went on and delved into the direction and production worlds. He received several nominations and awards for his performances in the 2014 film Birdman.
